Course Introduction
Change in the last few years has been at a rate never experienced before. The switch from what was once the “norm” of meeting face to face to using online platforms for learning, meetings, training, and presentations has given us ‘work from anywhere’ possibilities beyond anything before.
These rapid changes, particularly in the world of tech, also give us the opportunity to show up and stand out like never before. Anyone with an internet connection can access pretty much anyone, at any time, anywhere in the world.
Often there is chatter in our minds that sends us into questioning:
- How am I showing up on Zoom?
- What will they ask me to present next?
- How come nobody asked me any questions?
- It seems like no one was interested in what I had to say?
- They have asked me to make videos for social media, and I have been asked to present at a company event, how on earth?
Or maybe it’s simply that you think if only I could talk and present as confidently as ‘insert name’ then I would be all okay. Here’s the thing, you can.
Consider this for a moment ‘People generally form 90% of their lasting impression of us in the first 90 seconds of meeting us’, whilst the changes to ‘online’ meetings and presentations have saved us time, this has also brought with it something that was to a large extent somewhat ‘hidden’, this being the importance of how we show up, how we present, how we capture the attention of others and the lasting impression that we make.
We have all seen those who present themselves and their content in a way that’s easy to follow, enjoyable, informative, and makes sense. Maybe you have thought to yourself ‘I could never do that’ or you may think they must have had years of training and practice to be able to do what they do.
Like anything in life, there is a recipe for success. Learn, understand, implement, and practice all that we teach in C2 Presenting, whether in person or online. By applying what you will learn you will be confident that your next presentation will be concise, well-structured, easy to follow and captivating for your audience. Having completed these 4 fun-filled days with us, you will indeed deliver your presentations with charisma, style, and most importantly confidence.

Thinking & Theme
Great speakers and presenters are not born; they are made.
We have all seen people who show up and present with an air of calm and charisma, they connect with the audience, use humor in a great way, get their point across and even more than this, they do this and even look like they are enjoying it! There is always the one in the company or at the PTA who makes it look easy, almost as if they were born to this, and then there are the Ted Talk crew who we look at in awe and perhaps think ‘Well I could never’ or if only.
There exists a formula, a formula which is modelled (copied) on the tools and techniques used by people whose presentations we regard as being great and perhaps even amazing. Here is the good news, all of this can be learnt and applied by you, saving you massive amounts of time, getting rid of anxiety and more importantly allowing you to show up as the person that you really are.
